UDE. began with a simple, stubborn idea: that a small handmade thing can carry a feeling too big to say out loud.
It started with one little friend
We kept noticing the same thing: people wanted to say “I'm proud of you”, “don't give up”, “I love you axolotl” — but the words felt too big, or too shy, to send in a text.
So we made something they could hold instead. A palm-sized crochet animal, a wooden base to sit it on, and a little card with the message already written — half in Bangla, half in English, exactly how we talk.
Each one is crocheted slowly, by hand, then wrapped in kraft paper and tied with a ribbon in Jessore. Small enough to fit in a palm. Big enough to make someone's whole week.
